For this project I was given an idea to recreate a "retro" style postcard to welcome back the DMA students for the summer 2011 quarter. My concept for this project follows a playful, summer and tropical theme. Despite the fact we are still in the summer months and this means most people are on vacation, we still have to put our nose to the grindstone and get to work. I wanted to show the returning students that even though we are here to work we can still make the best of things and have a good time doing it.
